Who it's for

Built for your kind of venue

A beach club doesn't book like a supper club. Pick your type — the platform is set up around how you actually fill the room.

  • Fill the second sittingGuests search by time, so your 21:45 gap surfaces to people still deciding where to eat — the covers you normally lose after the first turn.
  • Pace the turn, protect the kitchenSet dining duration and how many tables can seat at once, so a full book arrives staggered instead of twelve covers landing together.
  • Diners who chose you on purposeThey picked the room, the time and the party size before arriving — booked intent, not walk-past traffic, and far fewer no-shows.

Where our guests book

Guests book across 44 cities in 8 countries — and plan their nights out in every one of them.

Your listing

How your venue appears

The same profile guests see when they open TheList. Editorial photography first, availability second, everything else in service of the booking.

  1. Your photography, full-bleedThe room sells first. Your images run edge to edge under the venue name in the editorial serif — no template chrome competing with them.
  2. Live availability, not a request formReal times for the guest's date and party size, drawn from the capacity you set. Nothing offered that you can't actually seat.
  3. Zones and price, stated plainlyTerrace or raw bar, and what a cover costs — the guest self-selects before booking, so the party that arrives is the one you expected.

How it works

From request to first booking

Three steps, and our team does the heavy part. You never build the listing yourself.

  1. Submit your venueThe short form below — venue, city, a way to reach you. A curator reads it; you don't chase anyone.
  2. OnboardingOur team builds your profile from your photography, then sets your zones, capacity, durations and policies with you on a call.
  3. Go liveYour venue appears in city results with real availability, and the first bookings land in your inbox and calendar.

Questions

The things operators ask us first

Straight answers, so you don't have to email for them. Commercial specifics are the ones our team confirms with you directly.

What commission or fee does TheList charge?

There are two ways to work with us: a flat monthly subscription, or a commission per completed booking — you pick whichever suits your volume, and you can switch as the season changes. Cancellations and no-shows are not charged, and there is no fee on covers that reach you through your own channels. Enterprise agreements are priced per group. We quote the figures for your venue on the call, and the exact terms are confirmed in writing before you go live.

How long is the contract, and can I cancel?

The standard agreement runs for an initial term and then continues month to month, with notice to leave — we confirm both in writing before you go live. There is no exit fee and no minimum-volume clause, so a quiet off-season does not put you in breach. Bookings already taken are honoured through their date after you give notice, so no guest is left holding a reservation that no longer exists.

Does it integrate with my existing POS or booking system?

On Enterprise we offer API access and integrations with the major POS and PMS platforms, so availability and covers stay in sync with the system you already run. On Basic and Pro, TheList runs alongside your current setup — you manage TheList inventory in our tools, and your existing system keeps doing everything else. Our team maps this with you during onboarding; if your platform is not yet supported, we will tell you plainly rather than promise a connector.

Who owns the guest data?

You own the guest records for bookings made at your venue — name, contact details, party size, preferences and your own notes — and you can export them at any time, including after you leave. TheList holds the same data as the platform that took the booking, and uses it to run the reservation and to operate the marketplace. We do not sell your guest list, and we do not hand your guest data to another venue.

How long does onboarding take?

The work on your side is small: send us your photography, your opening hours, and how you actually seat the room — durations, zones, party-size limits and any minimum spend. We build the profile and configure the inventory, then walk you through it before anything is published, so nothing goes live that you have not seen. How long that takes depends on how much of it is ready, and we will give you a date on the call.

Which cities are you currently accepting venues in?

The city field on the form accepts anything, so submit your venue wherever it is — we use inbound requests to decide where we open next. If we are not opening in your city this season we will tell you honestly rather than leaving you waiting.

Is there a minimum venue size or standard?

There is no minimum cover count or venue size — a twelve-seat counter is as welcome as a five-hundred-capacity beach club. What we do curate is quality and reliability: a venue guests would recommend, and an operation that honours the bookings it accepts. Every request is reviewed by a curator, and if it is not a fit right now we will say so directly instead of leaving the request open.
