Do I need an account to book?

You can browse venues, check availability and choose your spot without one. You only need an account for the last step — confirming the booking — because the reservation has to belong to someone.

Signing in takes a moment: enter your phone number or email and we'll send you a one-time code.

How do I book a table?

Open the venue you want, then pick your date, time and party size. The venue shows you what it has free.

  • Some venues let you choose your exact table or spot on their floor plan.
  • Others take the request and assign your spot when you arrive.

Either way you'll see a review step with everything on it — date, time, guests, and any amount due — before anything is confirmed.

How long is my spot held while I book?

As soon as you choose a spot we hold it for you, and a countdown shows exactly how long you have. It's there so nobody else can take the table while you're finishing.

If the countdown runs out, the spot goes back to the venue and nothing is charged — you're free to start again, though that table may no longer be free.

Why does my reservation say “Pending”?

Some venues confirm instantly. Others read every request themselves and confirm it by hand — until they do, your reservation sits as Pending.

You do not need to do anything. The status updates on the reservation itself, so open it any time to see where it stands.

How do I cancel a reservation?

Open the reservation and choose Cancel. We ask why, show you the venue’s own cancellation policy, and only then cancel it.

If anything was charged, the venue decides what happens to it — we follow their policy. Cancelling cannot be undone: if you change your mind you will need to book again, and the spot may not still be free.

Can I change the date, time or number of guests?

Often, yes. Open the reservation and choose Modify — the booking reopens with your seats, date and party already filled in, and you edit from there within the venue’s rules.

If Modify is not offered, the venue does not allow changes to that booking. Cancel it and book again instead.

Where do I find my reservations?

They are all in one place, upcoming and past, in your account. Each one carries its confirmation number, the venue’s address and directions.

Do I have to pay to reserve?

Many venues take a reservation without any payment at all. Others ask for a deposit, or set a minimum spend for the table.

When one does, the exact amount is shown on the review step before you confirm — you are never asked for a card without seeing the figure first.

Where do my card details go?

Straight to Stripe, our payment provider. Your card number is entered in Stripe’s own secure field and never reaches our servers, so we do not store it and cannot see it.

How do I sign in?

There is no password. Enter your phone number or your email address and we send you a one-time code; type it in and you are signed in.

Codes sent to a phone number arrive on WhatsApp. Codes sent to an email address arrive by email.

How do I change my name or my contact details?

Your name, date of birth and gender are yours to edit in your account, any time.

Your email address and phone number are what you sign in with, so they cannot be edited there. If either one is wrong, get in touch and tell us.

How do I delete my account?

At the bottom of your account there is a Delete account option. Because it is permanent, we ask you to type a confirmation and then enter a one-time code we send you.

Deleting your account does not cancel reservations you have already made. Cancel anything you no longer want first.

What do you do with my personal details?

We use them to make and hold your reservations, and we pass the venue what it needs to seat you — your name, party size and any note you added.

The full detail is in our privacy policy.
